Eye of the Tiger by Survivor was released on May 29, 1982, with Take You on a Saturday as the B side. It was a single from Survivor’s third album of the same name. It also appeared on the Rocky III soundtrack.

Eye of the Tiger was an international success, topping charts worldwide. In the United States, it held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks.
