For Your Eyes Only by Sheena Easton was released on August 3, 1981, with an instrumental version of the song as the B side. It was the theme song for the 12th James Bond movie of the same name and appeared on the movie’s soundtrack.

The song reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart. It was nominated for Best Original Song at the 1982 Academy Awards, losing to Arthur’s Theme (The Best That You Can Do) from the movie Arthur.
