80s Song of the Day: These Dreams by Heart

These Dreams by Heart was released on January 18, 1986, with All Eyes as the B side. It was the third single from the band’s self-titled eighth studio album. It was the first Heart single on which Nancy Wilson performed lead vocals instead of her sister Ann.

these-dreamsThese Dreams was Heart’s first single to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the third of four U.S. Top 10 singles from the Heart album. The others were Never, Nothin’ At All, and What About Love.
