And how can I blame you
When I build my world around
The hope that one day we’d be so much
more than friends
How Am I Supposed to Live Without You by Laura Branigan was released July 1, 1983, with Mama as the B side. It was the second single from the singer’s second album Branigan 2.
The song reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a No. 1 hit on the adult contemporary charts in the United States and Canada. It was the first major hit for songwriters Doug James and Michael Bolton, who would record his own version of the song in 1989.

Laura’s hometown Armonk is remembering her 64th birthday July 3. It is also said Laura was born in 1952, and not 1957. Maybe the truth about her real age and timeline will at last erase the false which was set up in early 80’s. http://www.allaboutarmonk.com/peopleandplaces/laurabranigan.html
