The song reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Cyndi’s third consecutive Top 5 single on that chart after Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Time after Time. It reached the Top 10 in several countries, including Canada and Australia. It peaked at No. 46 on the UK Singles Chart.
