Got a Hold on Me by Christine McVie was released January 25, 1984, with Who’s Dreaming This Dream as the B side. It was the lead single from McVie’s self-titled second solo album. Musicians featured on the track include Steve Winwood on synthesizers and Lindsey Buckingham on guitar.

The song reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary and Rock Tracks charts. It was McVie’s only solo Top 10 hit in the United States.
