Poison Arrow by ABC was released on February 5, 1982, with the Theme from “Mantrap” (an alternate version of Poison Arrow) as the B side. It was the second single from the band’s debut studio album Lexicon of Love.

The song reached No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart. In the United States, it was ABC’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 25.

The 12″ version of Poison Arrow released in the United States featured a previously unreleased remix titled Theme from Mantrap (Lounge Sequence). Here’s the front (left) and back (right) cover of the US 12″ release:
