Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins was released in the United Kingdom on February 25, 1985, with Woman as the B side. It was a single from Bailey’s solo album Chinese Walls, which Collins produced.

In the United States, Easy Lover reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was denied the top spot for two weeks by Foreigner’s I Want to Know What Love Is.

The song won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Overall Performance in a Video in 1985, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals in 1986.
